Good sportsmanship isn’t something that people have when home teams lose in a big game, especially when they’ve foolishly bet something they can’t afford to lose.
Once upon a time, we cared about sports. Now we only care about sports celebrities. Classy players of good character who put the game first don’t become celebrities. Only players who act like Kardashians become celebrities. It’s a cycle – they give us what we want so we want more of what they give us.
