Mother Nature wasn’t the one to invent lawns that wouldn’t survive leaves. That’s all on us.

Those trees have to shed their leaves to make space for the new ones that will arrive in the Spring.

Raking prevents the leaves from returning nutrients to the soil, thus creating a disturbance in the time-space continuum. At least that is my reason for not doing so.

You tried to fool her by passing margarine off as butter.

A capable witch would zap those leaves away in a micro second!

Guess Broomy is sub par in the witch continuum!

I think she found yesterday’s cartoon boring!

As has already been mentioned …

Of course, Mother Nature intends those fallen leaves to remain over the roots, become compost and fertilize the soil, thus providing more sustenance for the tree. Your raking up and removing those leaves is interrupting Mother Nature’s process. Nice going!

Global warming is making fall too hot and dry. The leaves just basically go from green to dead nowadays.

Leaves, I don’t mind. It’s the pine cones and acorns that are a problem.

Her one chance to really rake it in…

Mother Nature is just trying something about your sedentary life.

It’s not nice to question Mother Nature.

It is her way, guys. Adjust your thinking and do not be whiny complainers!
