I like the sound of rain. One of my favorite “White Noise” Machine sounds is the Rain Sound. Another is the Waterfall. But the most effective is the straight “Static” Noise…

If you had You Tube, John, those sounds are available via dozens of channels, on demand.

The rain in spain falls mainly on the plain

But when you have high anxiety like me, rain on the roof makes you wonder if there is going to be a leak.

I use recordings of rain to go to sleep.

I love listening to a rain soundtrack when I have troubles sleeping at night. It is very relaxing.
