    Good Halloween Eve Vagabonds

Our temperature stands at 34, a little (very little) warmer then yesterday. Rain is the weather word for today with a high of 54.

Well, it’s not the best day for making the grocery run, whop, whop go the windshield wipers. Guess I’ll have to put pontoons on the Jeep. (^.^)

Along with the grocery run it’s off to recycling and trash. umm!

Pleasant day all and may God bless.

    Good Sunny morning, Vagabonds,

First off, thank you all for putting Bruce on all your prayer lists! His surgical biopsy went smoothly. It’ll be 2 weeks to get the result back and develop a plan of action.

Secondly, thanks, Jan for sending Arye my email address. I look forward to hearing from him.

Other than some laundry , my day looks clear.

Oh, it reached 70 here yesterday. But only 36 today.

    xoxo

    Buenos Dios Amigos Vagabundos

I was surprised that our English "Halloween” translates to the following in Spanish: vispera de todos los santos (all saints eve).

It’s very misty here in the WNC mountains this morning…in fact, I cannot even see the more distant mountains due to the rain and the mist. However, sunny weather is expected on Monday & Tuesday!

    Good morning, Vagabonds and Shalom.

ByE: B asks E if he had any luck with Jeanette the previous day. E chides B for saying anything because Mrs. E doesn’t like him betting on horses. So B apologizes to Mrs. E and tells her that Jeanette wasn’t a horse, she was a chorus girl. (And yes, I’m cheating. At the moment the English and Spanish versions are the same every day.)

Today is the designated “litter box day”. A not-so-pleasant chore, but Michael does the “dirty” work. I just sweep & vacuum so the area is clean to put them back.

We are going to an open house for a new insurance agent today. The daughter of a friend is opening her own State Farm agency and is throwing a grand opening party. We’ve been with State Farm for years, so we’ll try to throw our business her way.

After that, we are going to settle in with a pizza and a movie. Any suggestions?

We’re still looking at highs in the low 80’s. It’s 67 at the moment and rising quickly (10 degrees in 2 hours).

Everyone have a safe and blessed day.

    Good evening, Vagabonds.

We had sun today! I was getting very tired of the rain. The day started at a cool 45 and warmed up to 63. Tomorrow promises to be just as nice. Didn’t do to much today. I was very tired last night so I did not set my alarm clock and slept 90 minutes past my normal wake up time. And still fell asleep watching TV this afternoon. I blame the weather changes. :,-)

Last night we watched “Jungle Cruise” with Dwayne Johnson and really enjoyed it. Tonight we are watching the movie on METV, “Frankenstein Meets The Space Monster”. Hopefully next week’s movie will be better!

May you all have a peaceful evening.
