Most of the the time, I don’t get Spud. But, today, I totally understand him.

There’s no actual game going on. It’s just kids burning off all that sugar from breakfast before going to church.

With what is happening in our country, I sometimes feel like Spud and hope to stay above the fray – but it doesn’t always work out that way.

I like slower games too…golf, baseball, curling, bocce, bowling. Although, soccer is fun to watch sometimes.

I think Spud is dressed as the referee.

Spud won’t like full contact checkers, if it ever became as popular as the game played with the ball they’re chasing.
