    Whenever PBS would marathons, such as Dr. Who, there were long pledge drive breaks and you didn’t know when to get back to the tv.

    PBS launched a Downton Abbey marathon during their summer daytime begging season. All six years AND the movie. Interesting fact about the movie: The actor portraying King George V played Arthur Dent in the original BBC Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy tv and radio programmes and LP records in the early 80s. He had more hair and a smaller waistline as Arthur, but it’s good to be the King.
