During the spring of 2019 we discovered that a skunk had died in our yard and been covered in ice and snow that previous winter. We moved the carcass over to the edge of the hay field next door. About a month later we spied a pair of turkey vultures chowing down on it. They seemed to devour it all. We didn’t even see any fur left behind.
