It may be bad, but I got it right away! So it wasn’t that terrible! ;-))

Careful Minnie, I’ve seen Foghorn Leghorn smack that hound on the behind with a 2 × 4.

Foghorn Leghorn was largely based on Kenny Delmar’s Senator Claghorn character on the Fred Allen radio show. Claghorn even got his own spinoff movie, “It’s a Joke, Son!”:

Delmar later specialized in TV cartoon character voices, most notably (to me) Commander McBragg on “Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales” and The Hunter on “King Leonardo and His Short Subjects.”

I say boy, I say boy, that was a bad toon.
