Our dog Tammy does take over my side of bed when I get up.

It’s probably okay to move Rover over … as long as Red still let’s him sleep in the bed with him.

How about a little more privacy for Red while he’s going to the bathroom?

my gal-dog steals my pillow as a silly joke. She seldom stays there. When she “sneaks” onto it I chant “chiefie chiefie pillow thiefy” and she laughs. Yes, her name is Chief

My Shiba and I play this game eveeerrry night, except she is not playing. She kvetches mightily when I readjust her to get myself back in bed. But after that, she is quite happy for head skritch and hug.

If I get up during the night, my dog does plop herself exactly where I was sleeping, but I Just say “move it over” and she does. My first two beagles – if I got up, they immediately decided they had to go outside. With leashes, since I don’t have a fence here. I really appreciate the deep sleep of my current dog. She has never asked to go out during the night, and if she ever did, I wouldn’t mind because it would mean she really, really, really has to go right now!

I love the way a single small animal (includes cats, lemme tell ya) can fill such a large space. Altho Red probably has a single bed…

I didn’t think Red would have to lower his pj’s.

The dogs my family or I had were all outside dogs, so I never had this problem &/or pleasure (depending on how one views it).
