I keep a few of those freeze packs in my freezer, just in case.

Ice cream would be pretty messy.

I really doubt that the ice pack goes directly on the skin. Which begs another question…are you going to eat those vegetables after they are thawed out? And….your carpet is getting wet.

Not funny at all Michael. For me my hubby is much older from 36 years of stress on his lower back he has to use a walker in open spaces.

How hard is it to put ice cubes in a zip lock plastic bag to create an ice pack?

I have an old fashioned ice bag with the screw top. Fill it up with ice cubes and we’re good to go.

Wait until he gets a bit older, and starts feeling his own aches and pains.

I’ve been where John is multiple times. I would seriously want to shoot Michael, who has no idea what this is like. It is pure torture. You can’t turn your body at all, cannot walk, cannot stand. Good luck getting to a bathroom.

i use frozen vegetables as my ice pack. more flexible; not as hard on the affected area that is sore and does the trick for me!
