Not exactly a spill-proof toddler’s cup, is it?

Yep. That’s my granddaughter. She loves to spill her milk and hand-splatter it on the floor. Growl. The milk comes out of the straw, no matter how well spill-proof the cup is. Now I pour just a small amount so she would finish her milk in just a few slurps. Sometimes she asks for more and I would only give a second. Nothing more because beyond the second one, she plays with the milk.

This is why one of our rules was that the toddlers only eat in the kitchen or at the table. You don’t just hand them a cup and then let them wander. Elizabeth doesn’t know this now, but soon she will.

There are worse liquids that are yellow she could be putting on the floor.

Oh oh, and dad is going to try testing his back by taking a few tentative steps down the hall. Sure hope he looks down where he’s going or otherwise there’s going to be a loud crash followed by some loud and juicy expletive words!

The odds of a spill-proof toddlers cup spilling depends oh how bad the stain is going to be. If it’s water, it won’t spill. Grape juice… flooding will occur.

She will see how much fun it is when she walks in it in socks.

Are we talking carpet here, or bare floors? The angst and the time put into the cleanup will depend on the type of flooring. If it was carpet I would swat her behind…I might anyways.
