Well, they say, “Possession Is Nine-Tenths of the Law”

It’s rather impressive that Elly’s clothes fit a girl barely in her teens.

Between yesterday’s comic strip and today’s the lesson is clearly, “Better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission.”

Know of any parents borrowing their kids’ clothes?

No doubt inherited these bad habits

When my daughter-in-law was still a teenager living at home, she had to put a lock on her closet door to keep all her sisters out (7 children in the family – all girls).

My daughter used to borrow my shoes when we wore the same size when she was 11 but I have tiny feet and hers are a little bit on the big side of average so she couldn’t fit in them anymore by the time she was 12.

This just needs to stop. If she said no the first time that doesn’t mean you can borrow them behind her back.

I have two older sisters. They never borrowed my mothers clothes, however they did borrow each others from time to time and they would fight over them… I guess that’s something as a male I’ve never had to experience, really…

Have you seen preteen girls today…. No body is active any more unless it is school sponsered. Its a sedentary society. Girls are heavier than decades ago, and lets not talk about the boys!Parents should try this, 2 hours a night from 5-7 pm. Kill the circuit breakers and sit back and watch the chaos. Turn it back on at 7 and insist on them watching Jeopardy!

Lynn’s Comments:

I was always glad that my daughter’s feet were too big for my shoes.

I loaned a neighbor my snow blower once. I borrow it back once or twice a year now. He gets way more use out of it.

They surely aren’t going to be too small.

I’m guessing if Elly “borrowed” something of Elizabeth’s that Elizabeth would get all possessive about her stuff.

Seems like just yesterday she was running around dragging her stuffed rabbit.

“What’s mine is mine and what’s yours is also mine!”

In the fourth panel, Elly looks like she came to realize she mistakingly put on Elizabeth’s underwear.

Good grief! I would know immediately if once piece of my wardrobe was missing!

No way are they the same size.

How do they not hang like a tent on Liz!?

I know exactly how Elly feels. My girls did the same thing
