Is that real stuff or Gary’n’Gerrys wishful thinking? I think these server based assistants by big data companies Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple, Samsung, some Chinatech and so on are creepy enough without these abilities. I don’t want them in my private space, looking into my life and into my mind even.
I can state that it didn’t always work with the Amazon devices, My recently deceased wife used to use ours for the alarm and she would whisper for it to cancel the alarm and it would answer at “full” volume that it was cancelling the alarm. Sort of defeated the purpose and since she died I haven’t had to use either the alarm (not sleeping well) or whisper mode since I am all alone now.
