Once you enter public domain, any Tom, Dick and Harry can claim to be your great-grandchild and there’s nothing you can do about it. Personally, on my mother’s side I’m a direct linear descendant of Sir Launcelot. (On my father’s side I descend from Rumpelstiltskin, but I usually won’t admit to it.)
