Referee and umpires of any sport have a job I would not like to have. No matter what the calls, they are always viewed as wrong by someone.

I always remember the refs who’d say, “Penalty…Oakland!” when the Raiders were on one of their fifteen-year road trips.

I will never again be able to watch a football game (at any level) and not think, “Attention-whoring busybody” whenever I see a referee call a penalty. laughing
