We had a prissy dog that didn’t want to get his feet wet. If it was raining he’d walk along the landscape edging and do his business in the decorative rocks without getting his feet too wet.
My recently deceased wife and I had a male Chihuahua, who when it snowed and I didn’t sweep the deck so he could get to the yard would just walk a few feet and pee right there as if to say I needed to be faster with my job.

“Startled” is not “scared.” Hoser.

The Blue Angels are doing an airshow here this weekend and the airport they are basing it out of isn’t far from where we live
There was a lot of jet engine noise yesterday and the cats were freaking out from the unfamiliar sounds
I told them it was the world’s biggest birds and they were hunting cats, don’t think they believed me

I have 4 dogs and 2 stay outdoors in a big fenced area; they can hear a wildcat or coyote easily. That protects the 2 outdoor cats.

Survival of the fittest isn’t pretty, and it doesn’t smell very good either.
