In many warmer cities in the USA there are flocks of released parrots. The weather and food are such that they can survive the winter and propagate. Sunnyvale, a city north of San Jose and south of San Francisco, had three such flocks, IDK how many now, one of green lorikeets that blended in perfectly with the liquid amber trees in a part of town.
