I tried scanning this basket of tomatoes, but the basket doesn’t have a bar code for me to scan, and there’s no list of produce or other items for me to look up the code on. So I set the basket down and the computer started beeping at me about weight detected in the bagging area, then I tried scanning the next item in my cart and the scanner read the discount coupon before it read the regular price and wouldn’t let me continue because I had a discount for an item that wasn’t rung in. That was my experience the last time I tried using the “QUICK & CONVENIENT” self checkout that “SAVES YOU TIME” when you are grocery shopping.

If Dewey would realize he was using his “strip club card” this would go a lot faster ! Just saying.

Just walk out leave the stuff their and let them clean up the problem. Nothing in the cart is worth that much aggravation.

Be careful, Norm. They’ll make you pay for that single can of beans six times.

The problem is I’m doing your job and not getting paid for it.

Funny story here….yesterday I was on the phone with my daughter who tells me the best thing that has happened since COVID is curbside pickup. She went on and on praising it while she was waiting for someone to bring her purchases to the car. 10 minutes later she’s at home unloading her stuff and finds out most of it is the wrong products. So off she goes to the store to return the incorrect products and then to have to go through the store and get the correct ones. When she called me back I said " you were saying?"

It just gets better and better!
