    When I was 9 or 10 we lived in South Minneapolis. A dime would pay for a trolly ride into downtown, which I did by myself several times. One of the things I liked to do was check out the railroad station, which interested me. 15 years later I was back in Minneapolis living alone and afraid to be near that area of the city.

    Wait, the 42nd st stop for the A train is Port Authority bus station— it’s a lonnng corridor to Times Square for the IRT…
