I don’t blame prospective customers for wanting confirmation on being beloved. Agnes needs to draw up some certificates of proof that the bearer is now beloved.
On an unrelated note, if my wife were to say anything to me about wanting a hard copy, I would tell her, “I got a hard copy for you baby… right heeere.”
She was rich once, remember? She sold her guitar for $10,000. It wasn’t her fault that this just happened to be the day the creditors finally pretty much banged down Grandma’s door demanding payment on her two maxed-out credit cards AND the truck needed some serious repair.

I think most of us love Agnes… I know I do.
And I’m another who has no doubt of Grandma’s love for her, either…
We’ve seen her work hard at a low wage job and make sacrifices to support her granddaughter… many others wouldn’t.
…
Don’t confuse her facetious teasing with a lack of caring or affection.
She’s one of the only people who understands and can guide this quirky little spirit….
Sometimes humor is the only thing that works… either to get Agnes’ attention or to save her own sanity.
