    If they were smartphone type people, Bring syncs across devices, so if I cross bread of my list if disappears from my partners, too. It’s an excellent defence against the problems of trying to split shopping.

    We’re with the old folks though we do add letters for the various departments to keep from zigzagging around the store.

    We each have a list and meet at the check out. I scan, he bags. Quick, easy and sort of fun.

    By the way – I have never seen samples being handed out in a supermarket and that takes into account the 1950s to now.
