Going too far, yeah. Once, while surveying an old mill building for some renovation work, we found an old mannequin. Found some old clothes too, and a wig, and drew a face on her. Buried her in an old steam tunnel for a new guy to find the next day. Went great, scared the pants off him. She made the rounds after that, each “victim” would re-pose her somewhere else for the next victim to find. Finally she ended up hanging in a closet. The guy who found her was a Vietnam vet, with PTSD, who was found sitting on the floor quivering. She was disassembled and tossed in the dumpster after that, and even that sounds a little creepy now. Point is, be careful who you prank! Your fun may be someone else’s pain, and that’s not worth it.
