Amen to that!

The best thing about good memories is that you have them in the darker times to lift you up and to remind you that things will get better.
Then again, as much as we (try to) preserve them, they do (tend to) fade away.
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
I married a woman who insists on preserving other peoples memories.People who she never knew.
Sadly, my dad’s memories have mostly faded away.
Oh yeah???
today is the anniversary of my maternal grandmother’s passing…i miss her so MUCH ♥♥ & i cherish my memories of her daily..
I have a friend who made extensive scrapbooks and journals of her travels after retirement. She always used a large, dark font on them. “This way,” she said, “when I’m too old to travel, I will still be able to see this!” Wise woman.
Make sure you date your pix’s.
Until you get dementia.
I once gave some memories to Bob Hope. Most of you older people heard him thank me.
Growing up we had a photography shop so I didn’t take pictures when I traveled. If I get Alzheimer’s I’m screwed.
