Wondering if Dill made his royal apparel or if his brothers dressed him; and since he has yet to reach majority, should not he be referenced as ‘Prince of Cartherders’ rather than King?
This immediately brought back memories of when I was in high school and worked in a local supermarket. The newest grocery clerk—that would be me—was the “wagon boy” until someone else was hired. Since I started in late fall, I was still doing it in the winter. The worst was after a snowstorm when the parking lot was full of slushy snow and icy spots. I couldn’t wait for either spring to arrive or a new hire to come along. Luckily, a new kid—a high school friend, whom I’d told about the open position—was hired and he became the wagon boy.

As a cart herder myself, I’d rather not be that for Halloween.

At Aldi stores, the shoppers herd their own carts. You deposit a quarter to get a cart, and get the quarter back when you return the cart.

Love springtime. The snow pile in the mall parking lot melts and you see the wrecks of shopping carts the plows left.

As a former cart header I had issues with wobble wheels. Later in life, I often grab a cart with a wobbly wheels. Life can be truly cruel.
