When I was growing up in the Ozarks, we had a little lagoon behind our house, but it wasn’t for fishing.

Watched that movie in HD and it did not hold up…at all…

I never found fly fishing very effective. Too much competition.

Oh. I thought maybe he caught that “creature” while he was fishing in the Potomac river.

So obsessed with lures, Dudley never realizes what he caught….

A Gadabout Gaddis throwback?

At home with his creature comforts.

How long did it take to reel it in?

Might that be The Black Lagoon???

I caught one of those way down south once, but it was less than minimum size and I threw it back.

He had to catch it at Wakulla Springs in Florida. That’s where it was filmed. The park is a great place to stay and watch the “Creature” movie and the Johnny Weismuller Tarzan movies also filmed there.

jiminy Crickets, man, have you never learned about catch and release.

It was for dumping human waste. Bet it stunk.

I caught an entire colony of those. I was on the back page of a comic book. Used a US Quarter.
