    Good morning Vagabonds

It’s freezing, 32 degrees that is. They are talking light snow and snow showers but, the high temp is predicted to be 40, it shouldn’t last long.

The ski arias are turning on their snow guns with freezing temperatures at night hoping to get a jump on the ski season. Killington ski aria always tries to start the earliest and stay open the latest, good for the bottom line.

To all y’all a wonerful day and may walk it with you. (^.^)

Another cold morning….33 right now. It’s supposed to reach 52 today. Not sure it’ll reach that high.

We got our flu shot yesterday. Goody. Sore arm today.

We watched Air Force One last night. So nice to hear the score. So reminiscent of President Trump’s victory event in 2016.

    xoxo

    Good morning, Vagabonds…

Today’s B&E strip reminds me that I am now a long way from the sunny and warm Atlantic Ocean Beach (Playa). However, I saw something on MSN/CNN yesterday about coastal flooding and disappearing beaches due to global warming, so I’m happy to be safely ensconced in the misty Blue Ridge mountains. I think the above B&E strip was published many years ago…before the rising ocean waters had become a global concern.

It’s chilly here today…but in the 40s (not freezing). And some warmer days in the Fahrenheit 60s are expected as we move into the second week of the month. I may have moved north…but I’m still in The South!

So I’m here typing and looking out the window at a mountainside full of trees in the process of turning color…and beyond the mountain I can see more mountains….!

    Good morning, Vagabonds and Shalom.

We had a marathon HOA meeting last night. We had our annual meeting to install directors as well as the usual meeting. I’m official now for another 2 years and gave up the treasurer position to be the new VP. The second meeting was the long one. We went through and approved a whole bunch of contracts for work that needs to be done around here, mostly to do with landscaping. I left here at 5 and didn’t get home until 9:30! Whew!

That also meant that I didn’t manage to wind down and get to bed until after 11. So I slept in until after 9 this morning. What a waste of the day!

We’re looking at another 80 degree day here. It’s 73 at the moment and sunny with a few wispy clouds. Nice.

It’s Wednesday again, and that means laundry. Again. You know, I remember those paper dresses from the 60’s. Sometimes I wish we had more “disposable” clothing, especially on Wednesdays.

Everyone have a safe and blessed day.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

I was up early this morning which meant I got to Walmart a good 30 minutes earlier than normal. With fewer people there I was able to get everything quickly. My only disappointment was when I looked over the turkeys. They did not have a single one under 20 pounds, which is way to much for six people. So we ended up taking a 20 minute drive to the grocery where I was able to get a nice one that was just over 11 pounds. Much better. I know a lot of folks don’t like turkey but I do like it. My husband thinks I should just buy a turkey breast, but I have always disliked white meat. So I search for an appropriate sized whole bird.

Weather wise the day started off quite cold at 34 but it did warm up to 52 and has been bright and sunny all day.

Well I fell asleep this afternoon so now I have to hustle to get dinner on the table and my laundry done. I do remember the paper clothing, a very short lived fashion fad.

May all of you enjoy a very blessed day.
