My right hand drags on the keyboard. Many times I’ll type something, and I touch a key sideways or something, and it erases the entire message! So I have to type it all over again. Bummer!
We watched a 1959 version of “Hound of the Baskervilles” last night, starring Peter Cushing as Holmes and Christopher Lee as Sir Henry Baskerville. (The actor playing Watson was someone I don’t know.) It was different. Some of the things that happen in the book got truncated and other things were added, enough that even if you had read the book, you would be surprised by the ending.
In the climactic scene when the hound attacked Sir Henry, it was a beautiful brindle colored great dane wearing a mask. When the dog got shot and left Sir Henry, he ran past the bad guy and you could see the actor’s arm reach out and wrap around the dog’s neck and pull him in to simulate another attack. I laughed out loud.
Today we’re off to another insurance “open house”. This time it is for our own medicare insurance agent, so we’re going to talk to her about setting an appointment to go over our coverage. We spent almost $9000 this year on my cancer treatment, much more than our insurance said we would ever pay out-of-pocket. I think we can do better.
Today is supposed to be a bit warmer than yesterday (84). It’s 61 at the moment, up 3 degrees in the half hour since I last looked at the thermometer.

Howdy Vagabonds
It is decidedly fall, showing a temperature of 24 again this morning. Sunny day today and a high of 47. (^.^)
I did my groceries yesterday so all I have to do is recycle and trash, mail and Quick Stop.
OK, not thinking about much, lot of room in my attic you know, so have a great day and may God bless.
