I’ve found if you wait until Thanksgiving to decorate, you will be doing so in rain or cold wind. I try to hit mid November when the sun may still shine or at least the wind isn’t blowing.
Is Thanksgiving not even recognized anymore? Sept. 1: I put out Fall decor, then add Halloween touches the week before 10/31, then transition to TDay decor. I start setting up Christmas decor the week following The First Sunday of Advent.

Yeah, it’s already Black November with MANY stores. They just couldn’t wait until after Thanksgiving to start their sales.
