With some friends I’m the extroverted conversation-carrier, with others I’m the quiet, listening one you can rant to. Some call it inconsistency, but I call it being there for those who need me, no mater what type of friend they need me to be!
I gave up and just switched to smiling and nodding a while ago. I thought I’d found the perfect system…until I discovered that, when you do it over the phone, people just think you got cut off.

Conversations don’t always need to be carried. Cozy silence is often just fine. =3

Extroverts don’t have a conversation with you. They just talk at you. I usually just walk away, and they keep on talking.

And some introverts wonder why extroverts start to avoid talking with or spending time with them
