My Uncle Buck was a great pool player and used to clean up on the Old Navy sailors at the pool hall on their pay day. He called it his second pay day.

So, if he’s not a good player, does Wally get a lump of coal for Christmas?

I had no idea you had another sister. I am very sorry for your loss. The only one you told me about was Mary and you used to visit her in Yorkshire if I remember right. And you also used to call her on New Year’s Eve as a sort of “first footing” tradition thing for the New Year? Sorry I can’t remember everything you told me.

It’s been windy here today. I now have my Fire Safety and First Aid certificate. The First Aid course was a bit rubbish in my opinion. All it involved was being on a Zoom call watching videos on what the British Red Cross do, how to approach a person who was unconscious on the ground, discussions etc. I think I know how to perform CPR but the First Aid certificate I have doesn’t even show it because none of that was demonstrated. A poor course.
