    Charlie should be smirking in the final panel; the job certainly suits Andy perfectly.

    How many times has he fallen in there? He should be familiar with the place.

    Sounds like a good job, if Andy doesn’t walk too close to the edge.

    Andy should do scuba tours of the canal – he has really plumbed the depths!

    You’ll fall in the canal anyway! Why not get paid for it while you’re at it?

    @Afficionado

    Hey, Affie.

    I hope you are feeling OK after your booster. I am not eligible for any more. I feel that two is enough anyway. I got my two COVID shots on 19th June and 15th August. The second one affected me more. I got a lovely, red itchy rash.

    Wonderful.

    Somebody I know from school is an Anti-Vaxxer and makes it known to everyone on Facebook. She “warned” me about getting mine and said it’s still in a trial (she’s right there) the companies are not liable for any damage and it should always be an informed choice. Or something along those lines. I don’t have any issue with her beliefs at all. If I don’t like it, I don’t need to comment.

    Sorry for going on, pal. I hope you enjoy your favourite nosh, I’m having mine too. Stay safe, stay well and stay happy. It’s been freezing cold here but still had a lovely time with my friend from school. See you after the weekend.

    A lady who is a diver is very enthused about what can be found in our local river—mostly from settlements along it in the last century or two (mills, logging operations and transport), but she did discover some submerged rocks with petroglyphs on them that are probably older than that, since they presumably predate the dams that raised the water level there.
