Do you put an equal amount of graduates into non-sports related jobs?

Do we know what other interests “over-devoting” himself to football will cause Chance to miss out on or is he against extra-curricular activities in general? Perhaps he wants to flit from one to another, being a theater nerd one semester, playing tuba in marching band the next, then a run at student body president.

How many “State U’s” have “put a lot of halfbacks (now an archaic term) into the NFL”? Bama? Penn State? THE Ohio State University? Still don’t know where Milford is?

Then don’t ask about the NFL, Idiot! I told you yesterday to look for a school offering a good scholarship with a good program you’re interested in. Did you listen? No.

In all reality , does Gil’s comment in P3 make sense to anyone ? Maybe they were discussing today’s lunchroom menu .

I say Wake Forest has a shot at Chance. Great academics, better weather than Milford and someone like True to share his experiences there. So who’s next for the Mudlarks in their quest for 2nd in The Valley?

Personally, I would rather a scholarship go to a student showing a high aptitude for science or literature than a football jock.

If R&W had put a fraction of the energy into exploring Chance’s angst/blowtop issues as they have into B.S. like Tevin’s “choking” or Guts’ “hypmotism” this might have been a more interesting plotline.

Does MHS have any student-athletes that actually enjoy the sport they play, or do they all have a Corina-Chance attitude about not wanting to talk to schools that are willing to give them a free education for playin’ a kids game? Kianna probably does but she’s more of a jack-of-all-trades-and-master-of-none player that won’t be considered for either sport she does.
