In my high school chorus chamber ensemble, we sang a Japanese folk song about fireflies. I may just be singing it all day now, and that fills me with happy memories.

Could have been worse. We might have named the ‘butt flashers’.
We call them, Lightin’ Bugs, in Brooklyn too!
