Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindness. And many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. -Mark Twain

As one who has travelled since he was 18 years old (I’m now 76), I can attest to the truth of this article. Get out there and meet people and then you’ll realize how narrow minded you once were.

Pretty much true. I find most bigots tend to not go far from their home town.

So true. I’ve traveled rather a bit. It’s sad that my traveling days are done.

You hit it right on this one! Absolutely true. I spent 14 years in the Air Force and saw most of the world, and this is absolutely correct. Get out, go, see as much as you can, it will change you, I guarantee it. Believe me, the USA does NOT have it right.

Okay, I’ve done Europe in the mid-90’s. I think I need a booster shot. Shall I start a crowdfunding here, lol?
