Cool looking car though…

I stopped dreaming years ago. They never came true, so why waste my time. I live in the present so I can never be disappointed.

There is an old story about how aerodynamically a Bumblebee shouldn’t be able to fly. It doesn’t know that however, so it does it anyway.

A Babylon 5 quote fits this perfectly.

Another disquieting message, Gavin. But as my old college roommate used to say, after being slapped across the face, “Thanks – I needed that.“

Had a real life version of this happen one Saturday. A friend had carved out a little track in his back acre, and invited us all to come down and have a kart racing party. We all brought our junky yard carts, except for two guys who brought a serious up-to-date racing kart.

While those serious guys prepped and tuned their racing kart, the rest of us had a ball banging around the track. By the time the serious guys finally got on the track, we’d finished our racing and had moved on to the barbeque.

Yeah, the serious guys would have kicked our butts during the race… but they missed out on all of the fun while they were trying to perfect their effort.

We were nice, though, and saved them some beer and barbeque.

Well done and very true… those "someday"s add up….
