It sure sneaks up on ya. Doesn’t it?
When you least expect it you’re suddenly the adult in the room!
There are some people who just breeze through being a grown-up and always know what to do…………….then there is Amanda and me.
Children age you. You date things by the children graduated from kindergarten or whatever. Later when you meet their friends, you realize how long it has been and how old you are, especially when they have children or grandchildren.
It does seem to sneak up on you. Over decades. You look in the mirror and say “Who are you?”
It’s not an age. It’s a state of mind. I haven’t gotten there yet. At almost 75 I’m wondering what the odds are.
