Worst part of a retail job these days. Enforcing the mask requirement. I personally agree that if you are fully vaccinated you should be free to choose to wear a mask or not. However we are forced to enforce the rules even though we disagree with them. We just got fined $2000 for not keeping a record of every staff member confirming on a daily basis that they don’t have covid symptoms and haven’t traveled out of the country. We work minimum wage retail jobs. Who can afford to travel?
I wouldn’t really argue with someone who is holding something that long and aiming it at my “brain”. Don’t like the policy of the store do go there. We had a sign that read “we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone” but only because it was a single store not a corporate or chain. I used to say that not all money is good money because if it makes you feel wrong or dirty earning it was it really worth it. When you start relaxing the rules that you put in place for “everyone” then it becomes anarchy and you end up losing in the long run because eventually the customers stop doing business with you because you keep changing and they don’t know what they are supposed to do. Sorry I am venting.
Up until 6 months ago the world had a very firm understanding of vaccines and vaccinations. Once vaccinated a person rapidly developed long lasting immunity to the targeted virus. 5-10 years minimum (like tetanus) lifetime for others. No masks, no carriers. If you come in contact with the virus your body destroys it.
These days the vaccine protects you for 3-6 months, but only against the Beta strain. It offers little or no protection from the Delta strain. Vaccinated persons are not immune and can carry major virus loads. Vaccinated persons run essentially the same risk from Delta as do un-vaccinated persons.
We already have a need for “boosters” at 6 months with the FDA and pharma openly discussing a need for boosters FOREVER.
Officials tell us to ignore the VAERS data because “anyone can file a report”. Oddly enough, they never said that about any other vaccine. Perhaps because VAERS reporting is actually done mostly by medical providers and the current count of adverse reactions stands in excess of 622,000 events.
Before you respond, please think carefully about what I said. With the exception of flu shots (which few of us consider to be “vaccines”) you have NEVER encountered a “vaccine” that only works sometimes, and only for 6 months. Unless you grew up in the 50’s you’ve never heard of people being crippled or even dying from a vaccine shot (autism freaks, stand down and adjust your tinfoil).
If you sit back and remove all the politics and rhetoric from the discussion you will see that it is very difficult to have any confidence in these vaccines. Go ahead and do your own research. https://vaers.hhs.gov/data.html
But remember this. Despite being LEGALLY REQUIRED to report adverse reactions into VAERS many medical facilities are failing to do so. Some are even PROHIBITING employees from doing so.
All this for an illness with a near zero mortality rate for persons under age 65. Kind of like the flu.
For those who can read and comprehend, I recommend the following:
https://tinyurl.com/rkt7a7nw
https://tinyurl.com/fwaxtaba
“Delta is believed to be more than twice as contagious as previous variants, and studies have shown that it may be more likely than the original virus to put infected people in the hospital. People who are not vaccinated are most at risk, and the highest spread of cases and severe outcomes is happening in places with low vaccination rates.”
“Data so far has shown the vaccines that are authorized or approved in the U.S. still provide strong protection, especially against severe illness, hospitalization, and death, according to the CDC.”
“Claims of widespread death due to COVID-19 vaccines reported on VAERS are false. Entries in VAERS do not prove causality. According to the CDC, there have been three confirmed deaths connected to the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine.”
And in the be careful when you say NEVER category…
""Cholera vaccines … For the first six months after vaccination they provide about 85 percent protection, which decreases to 50 percent or 62 percent during the first year. After two years the level of protection decreases to less than 50 percent."
And yes, some reporting has been controlled:“Florida stops reporting COVID-19 cases, deaths in daily reports”
Just not any to VAERS. and don’t believe anyone who says otherwise without them providing some proof. If someone says people are being prevented from reporting to VAERS, that might be a key indicator they are misinformed:
“Anyone can submit a report of an event to VAERS, even if it’s not clear that a vaccine caused the problem. All reports are accepted into the database without determining whether the event was caused by a particular vaccine, and therefore, as a disclaimer warns, submissions “may include incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental and unverified information.”
“Pertussis vaccine is a vaccine that protects against whooping cough…. The effectiveness of the vaccines appears to decrease by between 2 and 10% per year after vaccination …. The vaccine is only available in combination with tetanus and diphtheria vaccines.”
“The best way to prevent flu is by getting a flu vaccine each year.”
“Most experts believe that flu viruses spread mainly by tiny droplets made when people with flu cough, sneeze or talk. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby. Less often, a person might get flu by touching a surface or object that has flu virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose or possibly their eyes.”
“CDC also recommends everyday preventive actions (like staying away from people who are sick, covering coughs and sneezes and frequent handwashing) to help slow the spread of germs that cause respiratory (nose, throat, and lungs) illnesses, like flu.”
If so inclined, I recommend flagging any comment that is spreading false information that is dangerous. That pretty much includes any post that claims COVID is a scam, or lie, or not serious.

Anecdotal evidence, shows that refusing the vaccine, and not wearing masks where required, is related to sever thickening of the skull.
