Role reversal! Red’s freaked, but Rover’s loving it.

The important thing is that Rover is comfortable!

At least he didn’t end up (fall) on the floor.

I’m thinking my dog is attempting that with me.

All of our dogs slept on the bed. The cats took over the couches to sleep on. We took the bed too and all of us slept.

Red, Red, RED, look into my eyes! Now BARK!

Easy to fix – just snuggle under those covers Red

I didn’t have a dog when I was small yet I still ended hanging off the end of my bed.

That is so sweet! My girl Lizzie sleeps with me, too. I think dogs love that. My Gracie, who is now passed, couldn’t wait for bedtime ;) But anyway, Red still looks sleepless, and cold! Poor Red!

Mine likes to sleep on top of my feet, which is a sign of respect from a dog, but rather uncomfy. She also presses her weight (under 20 lbs) against my knees at times – and the pain from that will wake me up. I miss that my last dog used to curl up against my belly (30 lbs) on the left side of the bed and she rarely moved. This one, I never know for sure if she will be on top of the covers, underneath, on my right or left. I guess I should be glad neither of them were in the habit of wanting to get up before I did/do. It’s all worth it.

Critters always seem to nudge their way into your space…and heart!

OK – let’s carry this out all the way to the end. Next, Red needs to awaken Red and insist they go outside for a walk!
