Actually, the most dangerous species of all is the mosquito, responsible for as many as 1,000,000 deaths per year by spreading diseases. #2 are snakes followed by man’s best friend(?)… dogs, freshwater snails, tsetse flies, Ascaris roundworms, Hippopotamuses and coming in at #8, Nile & saltwater crocodiles accounting for about 1000 deaths per year.
It really depends on whether you mean dangerous as an individual (an average crocodile is more dangerous than an average human) or as a species (I don’t think any other Earth population causes as much damage to the planet as humans).
Reminds me of Mutual Omaha’s Wild Kingdom. " Watch big Jim my assistant wrestle with the dangerous beast while I Marlon Perkins stay safely in the boat!"

The most dangerous one (to you or me) is the one that’s threatening you or me right now.

Who’s.. the “they”? Missguided fools whoever they are, everyone knows kittens are the most dangerous, what with sharp teeth and claws.
