I saw a video of a Rat Terrier working on a farm, killing rats. The farmer would lift a bale of hay with his tractor and a rat would run out. The dog was twice as fast as the rat and would pounce on it, shake it viciously and drop it, dead. Then do the next one.

Hey, if they’ll roll in road kill, a few bits of rat are like nothing.

I have the feeling rats are like mice – there’s never just one.

Where I live there are few basements: water table is too high, which is typical in the South.
