I have “rescued” items that are being thrown away myself.

I’d like to say, “Thank you, Superhero, for (helping in) saving the planet.”

[Next time you just need to clean it up before someone notices (you get caught).]

Not saving the planet. The planet will still exist. Saving our blorking butts from extinction is the goal.

I believe the planet will take care of itself. That being said, metals should be recycled, but as to plastic, were are in over our head.

It would be nice if the things in the recycle bin (especially plastics) were actually being recycled. Unfortunately, a majority eventually winds up in a landfill somewhere. I’m not saying you should stop recycling but we should hold the plastics industry accountable. Stamping something with a recyclable symbol doesn’t get it recycled.
