Part of the reason why the arcs aren’t good is because they shouldn’t BE arcs. Take the strip from Monday for example. It was good enough for a standalone joke, but trying to stretch it out for a week is what really makes the quality go down. I’ve noticed that the Sunday comics are better than the weekly ones lately, and imo Lincoln should stick with one-joke-every-strip if he doesn’t have ideas for a week long arc. But that requires more thoughts into making jokes, so I guess its understandable why he wants to stretch out the jokes

If Nate’s hair raised that much if it was just okay, then I wonder how far it would raise if it was amazing!

I saw DaVincis Ginevra de’ Benci At the National Gallery it was on displayed with other masters from the Renaissance era and DaVinci was clearly better. The point is because one person is better, does not mean you’re not good, possibly very good.
