Some show I can watch over and over again. Like Burns and Allen.
“George: Gracie, those are beautiful flowers. Where did they come from?
Gracie: Don’t you remember, George? You said that if I went to visit Clara Bagley in the hospital I should be sure to take her flowers. So, when she wasn’t looking, I did.”
Seems like we can only get the next iteration of old ideas, be it Star Wars, Spiderman, Star Trek, Terminator or 007. Now it’s a re-rehash of Ghostbusters. Are there no geniuses to roll the proverbial dice on the next original idea?
Trouble with binge watching old shows— I can still recite the lines on most of the West Wing episodes, as well as many from a lot of the other better shows. The forgettable ones aren’t worth rewatching and the really good ones can’t be forgotten.
I’d almost forgotten that Burns and Allen became a TV series (1950-1958) after their long radio program (1932-1950). I’ve heard a lot more reruns of the Radio Show than I have of the TV show. Thanks for the reminder.

Me: Haven’t we seen this episode?
Her: I think so, but I can’t remember how it ends.
Me: so we watch it again?
Her: Yes, for a little bit.

I rewatch series I like (Perry Mason, Peter Gunn, Rocky+Bullwinkle, …) but I try to space them out so I don’t quite remember them.

What’s the fuzzy looking thing on the far right side of the sofa back pillow?

I’ve read books and figured out int the middle of the last chapter that I had read it before. A failing memory increases your literary choices.
