Putting your eggs in one basket is not just a saying. I am retired and in the market. I’m not supposed to be according to what I read. But I’m NOT IN the market all the way. It is a smaller portion of my investments. When the market crashes, it will not destroy my finances. I say WHEN because I’m not stupid!! The good part is I am getting a monthly amount off of it while it is on the upswing so when the market does drop, no one is going to say I have to pay it all back!!
I’ve read this fora couple years. This is the second time I’ve started this series. The wife and mother in law area piece of work. MIL complains about looser son in law, instead of being grateful she has a roof over her head. Wife expects husband to pick up slack when she finally gets a part time job; instead of asking her deadbeat parents to help out. I do like Grandpa and his relationship with the son.

More often that not. It’s the other way around.
