I figures out a long time ago the New Year’s will arrive whether I’m asleep or awake. Unless I was on shift, I much preferred to be asleep when it started because I knew the fireworks and gunshots would awaken both my wife and I.
When I was a young lad I always was wide awake when the New Year rolled in. Watched my share of falling balls and fireworks. But now forget it I think I managed to stay awake once in the last 20 years.

I’m not missing sleep over arbitrary time events. Are the rest of you going to celebrate the change to Daylight Saving Time?
