I’m sure we’ve had this discussion previously but what do folks think MeMaw’s truck is. I’m saying Chevy Apache C10 from the early ’60s. It looks very muck like a ’63 C10 I used to own.
Our basement is crowded with boxes already, as the four churches in our village start collecting in November for the many Christmas gift hampers they distribute.
In Philadelphia yesterday John Debella of radio 102.9 had his 20th annual turkey drop- he gets local businesses and unions and listeners to donate to local charities. $20 is a dinner for a family.
Our church held drive-up food collections on four Saturdays this year. The members and the local community donated 2,346 pounds of food and personal care items to support the local food cupboard.
If you don’t want to donate food to the homeless, all of them need socks, gloves, a warm cap, a jacket, blankets. Don’t forget that there are women homeless as well. Most times these items can be dropped off at a shelter, or you can given them to the homeless on the streets of your area. Blessings to all on this Thanksgiving.

Made my drop off and then “Meemaw” showed up and I helped her unload.
Yes, right as I dropped off a couple bags, an older woman with a truckload showed up. Though she looked nothing like this Meemaw.
