Regifting part on the season. My grandmother had an entire room dedicated to regifting. She had spindles of wrapping paper and twine. She would iron old ribbons and wrappings. It was quite the operation. A mini Marshal Fields in the basement. My grandfather was a doctor so the room was packed with all kinds of bizarre gifts. If she liked the gift wrapping on your present, she would instruct you to save the paper and to fold it for her. In her New England accent she would say “ you MUSNT waste it “. What is show it was!

Rover would have a blast with my Mr.‘s sock collection. Every Christmas and birthday, his sister gifts him SOCKS! He’ll NEVER have to BUY socks in his lifetime.

Socks are great toys for dogs—until they eat them! My niece’s dog tried to eat one and her husband had to get it out of Rupert’s throat; if he had swallowed it, it would have meant a trip to the vet and possible (likely?) surgery.
