Most of his fellow employees think he’s a joke – that his job is a laughing matter.

And he (kind of) is – but it works for him in this case.

Have not heard “tomfoolery” in a couple of decades!

I once knew a Tom Foolery. Or was that Tom Flattery? Humm.

I always threw it in for free. On at least one occasion it got me hired over someone more qualified but less interest. :)

The role of the fool is a dangerous one; always going to the edge of tolerance. But useful in keeping the powerful humble.
