The current concept of ‘ugly Christmas sweater’ misses the point. The original ugly Christmas sweaters were those that were knitted and crocheted by distant, misguided aunts, cousins, or grandparents that one was forced to wear when they came to visit — and those sweaters had to be kept and worn for future visits. Like Ralphie’s bunny suit in “A Christmas Story” (1983 movie).
That’s a delightful, festive Christmas sweater! Why on earth has it been decreed that all festive holiday sweaters are by definition ugly? The supposed War on Christmas seems to be at least 97% mythical, but the War on Christmas Sweaters is everywhere!

Yeeez I see you are well prepared for the ugly Christmas sweater contest, but, sorry, you have no chance against ME! Har! Har!

Isn’t it usually the lady Pluggers who comment on their spouse’s wardrobe choices?

Check out today’s “Shoe”. The Hens are identical. What’s up with that?

Here’s one idea for future Pluggers : It’s always merry Kissmas for Pluggers under the mistletoes.
P.S. : If it features the cat plugger, then it double the pun – Meowy Kissmas. Haw haw!

Best (funny) idea for a ugly sweater I saw had a mirror on the front.

Do people actually have these contests? Because that sounds…harmless.

My wife just asks “ is that what you’re wearing?” That means go change.

That’s because they have a drawer full of Christmas sweaters that just look ugly because they’re out-of-style.
