This kicks off a neat little story line that will take us all the way to Christmas. Growing up in Rhode Island, there’s a sort of “right of passage” that most kids endure, and that’s going to see the theater production of “A Christmas Carol” in Providence. I really wanted to tell this story but it was kind of a daunting challenge from the beggining and I almost abandoned the project. But then, my wife reminded me that If I wasn’t challenging myself then whats the point. I’m happy with the results and I hope everyone here enjoys the ride.
Can’t think of a worse nightmare for Sterling than having to sit still and watch live theater and by “nightmare” I mean “for everyone else in the building.”
Wait… so the GP’s can’t spare the time to watch the performance but they can spare it to watch Sterling? Or they just can’t leave the house and Wallace’s folks have to drop Sterling off?
Small detail, maybe unintentional, but I like it…Mom is using the actual ASL sign for “three”. Different from holding up the first three fingers of the hand (NO thumb), which is the ASL sign for the letter “W”. I’m giving Will the benefit of the doubt that this is a nod to his deaf readers…thanks, Will!
I have dear friends in West Kingston who love your work and think your wife is amazing. I love living in Snug Harbor for a little while every day!. :-)

That last panel with fingers in hair just brought the most wonderful nostalgia. Thank you. This play’s gonna be fun….

Does watching Sterling involve two rolls of duct tape and a sturdy chair?
